The night train, and waiting for it, under the clouds under the stars. The stations on this line are open to the air. Above the streets which move people in different routes than these. We circumvent the other routes, we travel, heavily, above and around them. I feel my head without touching it. I am waiting with all the time in the world. And I have places to be, on time, but the train doesn't mind, and will come exactly when it's meaning to.

All the tiles at Myrtle-Wyckoff were wet, and dry, at the same time. Like scales. Like the scales of some great tropical creature sleeping for so long that we built the train station right over it. Without even realizing it. I reread what you sent me, atop the station. It feels so incredibly good. I don't know how to respond. I want to try and meet you wherever I can. You, who is listening. You, who is right at the other end of this thing. You are listening, through the phone. You are listening to my journal entires, my emails, and this performance. You are listening to the train station platform tremble as the train enters the station.

I am meeting and entertaining the notion of thousands of other me's passing through and into themselves as I sit down on the right side bench, moving now and beautifully ghosted within the trains carriages place above the track rails going east. All ways in my own time, shuttering, still, dependent, on me always being able to see this for however long it takes.

The night train, the way home. holding all this weight. Moving it easily. You are on the train with me but in a different way. A facsimile, a piece of your senses and all your potential. A way to enter my life and I like it like this, so distanced because I am scared. You help make me not so.
